Today brought to you by the weird podiatry student (wps) on our medicine team that didn't have the common sense to put his phone on vibrate when we were on rounds/in conference/with patients.
wps: Do you like country music?
me: No, not particularly
wps: Oh... well what kind of music do you listen to?
me: I listen to pretty mellow stuff. Like Jack Johnson, Norah Jones, Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, Ben Folds, Josh Rouse...
wps: Oh, like Easy Listening?
I died a little inside
Am I that old already??

Heh :) Ben Folds *could* classify as easy listening, though. I've been known to throw on the easy listening station at nights on lonely long drives and cry along with Dehlilah :) *sniff*
Ha HA! :P Think it's time to break out some Korn! BTW, how did you make it through Ironman training on Norah Jones?
Wow, that comment is so not like me... I'm starting to sound like Angry Runner... Zing!
You're not the only one who feels old...
Ok, time to stop lurking. Always consider the source of those comments. He is trying to become a podiatrist, right? :-)The tires are fantastic. I buy mine out of the UK for around $30-35 (shipping incl.)I'm tryinng to remember the link.
Country's not so bad, but if you are old for your music choices...than so am I.
Your choices are easier to listen to than country. This is certain.
I love Nick Drake.
Podiatrists scare me.
Too funny...but in my opinion most anything beats country!!!
Here's to staying young forever regardless of what we listen to!
Jack Johnson's just plain cool - no matter what age you are.
You're not old! And some country ain't so bad. If we all liked the same things the world would be a very boring place!
Yes, you are that old. I would never listen to that old slow ort.
Yes, you are that old :-) I used to hear the oldies station on the radio playing a lot of music from the 50s and early 60s. Man, I thought, that is some old stuff. Now the music I grew up on is on the oldies station! Argh!
