How to pack a bike to travel so you never have to worry

And (for Brian) the wheels on the top!

If anyone out there thinks they would benefit by a step-by-step tour of packing a bike for shipping, just leave a comment. I feel like I could do it in my sleep at this point, but remember when it gave me cold sweats to think about putting my baby in a box!

No problem packing a bike. Now, the unpacking part...well...best I leave that to someone else. ;-)

Jodi, thanks so much for your solid comments on my blog about intake during the Air Force Marathon last Saturday. I really appreciated it...will compile the info and work a new plan.

Thanks for taking the time to write up such helpful stuff!!

Wow. Maybe you should go into surgery with careful work like that. Where's the wheels? Separate box?

WOW! Anything about bike repair/maintenance scares me to death at this point. I'm content just to ride it without killing myself (blush). Is it hard to do (or should I say, put back together)?

That has to be the most impressive packing job I have seen and for some reason I chuckled and said - she has had too much med school and surgery practice - it looks like your bike went through the OR! LOL!!
