On the mend

Thanks for all the well-wishes for the Mad-dog. She is doing better. Not completely healed yet, but is getting back her spunk. Here is some photo evidence:

Maddie playing with a new neighborhood puppy:

Playing with my nephew:

And doing what she does best with her co-conspirator... begging! You gonna finish that, ma?

And as a bonus, upside down maddie!

The neighbor whose dog attacked Maddie payed for the vet visit. It's a little disconcerting, though because we found out that he has attacked numerous other neighborhood dogs. Apparently they have an electric fence. Seems they need to turn up the voltage...

I'm off to Florida tomorrow morning to go cheer on some good friends racing the Half Ironman World Championships in Clearwater, then spend some time with a good friend in Estero then up to interview at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Going to be a very hectic weekend! I'll take tons of pics!

So glad to see Maddie is doing better! Did you file a police report about that dog? What is it was someone's toddler walking around in the hood? I just see to much of that crap these days on the news.

Best of luck to you and your friends in FL! Hope the weather is warmer there!

I agree on the police report. It's only a matter of time before their dog kills another dog.

Have fun in FL. We're supposed to get snow here in Cleveland.

Jodi,

Your site is very inspirational!

You seem to be that impossible to be person who has it all together. Do you have any tips on how you prioritize money?

Costs of med school and training related costs are huge as it is, and just finding time and money for both those seem overwhelming to me.

I've had to stop playing golf due to time and cost, otherwise I can't train. My wife is fairly supportive, but has limits.

Your job must pay extremely well. What did you have to give up to do this? Car or safe neighborhood?

Help!
